GI Technologies are penetrated to the level of
Administrators, Decision Makers, Policy Formulators,
etc. However, the success and real benefit lie on the
use of these technologies by common public. Of course,
it is of long process and Centre for Geographic
Information Technologies (CGIT) realizes that the
penetration up to the general public is possible only
through service sectors, particularly Govt. departments.
Hence, the output and resources of Centre for Geographic
Information Technologies (CGIT) are started used by
decision makers and in turn it benefits the general
public.
