University Informatics Centre (UIC) has been functioning from 1994 to facilitate effective use of information technology in support of the University’s teaching, learning and research activities. The primary focus of UIC is to cater to the information technology needs of students, faculty, researchers and administrative staff of the University.

UIC manages and oversees the University’s technical projects and provides best-in-class technology infrastructure for Bharathidasan University’s student community in gaining access to institutional data, web based resources/applications, and educational tools in the campus as well as around the world.
