The academic computing infrastructure of UIC includes a state-of-the-art computing lab for catering to the academic and research computing needs of the students, faculty, and staff of Bharathidasan University. Currently the central computing lab is open 12X7 and will eventually become 24X7 in the near future. The Lab is utilized by other Departments by way of giving trainings to participants of various courses like Refresher courses, Orientation courses, Short term courses, Workshops etc. conducted by them.

The lab has more than 100 computers with latest configuration and is fully furnished with cool ambience. Managed by an experienced team of network engineers and system administrators, this lab has a powerful internet connection for providing web based access to educational materials and research publications.
