The rapid generation of molecular complexity, in a controlled and predictable manner, is a contemporary theme in the practice of modern organic synthesis. This process finds application in accessing newer entities for the pharmaceutical industry. Many interesting regio-, chemo- and diastereoselective reactions, Transition metal catalyzed tandem reactions and Synthesis of functionalized new complex carbocycles as well as heterocycles with an atom economy were achieved via Rhodium Carbenoid Chemistry. |
