Research Activities:

The primary research interests of our group are in the areas of Organometallic, Coordination and Bioinorganic Chemistry of Ruthenium. The research programme involves the design and synthesis of new organic ligands, the preparation of their Ru(II) and Ru(III) complexes and the exploration of their application in bioactivity, catalysis and biomimics. A variety of analytical and spectral, X-ray diffraction and electrochemical methods will be utilized to charactersize the new complexes.
