The training programmes were designed and conducted for school and college students, adolescent girls and out of school youth, Development workers, women working in both formal and informal sectors in collaboration with various institutions, like Educational Institutions, Colleges, Banks, Government and Non Government organizations.
Regular Gender Sensitivity training for the students, staff, and any group which are in need of such training.
A Gender Training Manual has been brought out by the Centre and is being used for different section of population including students, teachers, college professors, NGOs, NGO project co-ordinators, Adolescent out of School youth including boys and girls, women, gender club members, SHG Women, Women Entrepreneurs, Slum women, Rural women agricultural labourers, Women administrators, Elected Local body Women etc.
The outline of the module includes:
Introduction to Gender- which talks about the differences between gender and sex and the social construction and need for deconstruction.
Gender Sensitization throws light on creating sensitization on the social, cultural and religious practices and how they are deep rooted in the society and needs intervention by both men and women.
It deals with the how both men and women get socialized and the practices right from birth to death how gendered they are and need for engendering.
Gender Stereotyping- the socialization practices reinforce gender discriminatory practices between women and men and how the society got into stereotyped thinking etc are covered.

Economic empowerment of women is a prerequisite for overall empowerment and hence a separate association called Women Entrepreneurs Association of Tamil Nadu (WEAT) has been created and given to the women to manage various EDP, Skill Training, Management Development Programmes etc are conucted in coloration with various departments.
