ADMISSION PROCEDURE:

        The School Of Engineering And Technology offers courses under the following five Branches:

          There are 60 seats year per course for the first year[120 setas in Chemical technology].100% of the seats [ All seats in a branch has been surrenderd to the Anna University to be filled up under the single window system ].Anna University follows the communal allotment for these seats as per their merit system [ 100 marks for +2 Math’s, 100 marks for Physicalscience and 100 marks for the anna University TNPCEE exams ]. The 15% seats are reserved to be filled for NRI/Sponsorship Quota. The fees for NRI/Sponsorship are an equivalent of US $2000 per year (Rs.91000 in Indian Rupees approximately) for the first year and (Rs.88000 in Indian Rupees approximately) for the remaining next years.for each one of the 4 years. For sponsorship, the students have to get the sponsorship certificate from any company in India. The fee for sponsored candidates also is approximately Rs.91000 for the first year and Rs 88000 for each of the rest of years.

        Additional 6 seats per branch are available for the second year. The admission qualifications are as prescribed by the director of Technical Education (DTE). The candidates are advised to apply directly to the DTE for allotment under single window system.
