I am privileged to be the Director of Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE) of Bharathidasan University that persists for the noble cause of providing educational opportunities to the masses. On behalf of Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor and University authorities I am delighted to welcome you all to the Centre for Distance Education of Bharathidasan University.

The Centre for Distance Education is committed to encourage inter-disciplinary higher education to spread knowledge to every strata of the society. It aims at creating an innovative, value-based, and research—oriented world-class learning environment and establishing itself as a Centre of Excellence. Bharathathidasan Univeristy's Centre for Distance Education (CDOE-BDU) has a clear vision and mission of empowering students through quality education. We offer courses in Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes in all domain areas ranging from Arts, Science, Humanities, Management, Technology, Visual Media and Education (B.Ed.).

It gives me immense pleasure to inform you that Bharathidasan University which is one of the pioneer universities in India and committed to provide quality distance education to its learners.
