The prime objectives of the Centre

To develop a new eco-safe technology (i.e) pheromone trap for rodent pest management

To develop Biochemical kit for estrus detection in farm animals for successful artificial insemination, to increase livestock production

To improve the reproductive efficiency and successful reproduction in wild endangered species, to enhance captive breeding

To study the diversity in the pheromone / Odarant binding proteins in animals

Future perspectives of the CPT

To initiate olfactotherapy in fertility regulation and curing diseases
