About the Centre

The Commencement of ITTC is to foster incubation activities and entrepreneurial skills among the student in the Cutting edge Technology towards Information Technology. Incubation and Technology Transfer Centres will provide a platform for prospective entrepreneurs to startup an enterprise or a business firm that would provide job opportunities to other students as well.A startup company is an Entrepreneurial venture which is typically a newly emerged business that aims to meet a marketplace need by developing a viable business product, service, process or a platform.

Facilities Offered by the Centre

•  In Campus Accommodation : We provide in campus accommodation to our incubatees in the campus itself.
•  Mentoring : A faculty member of Bharathidasan University mentors and closely monitors product development of the incubatee company.
•  Office support : We provide various facilities to our incubatees which include : High End Computer Systems with Printer on rental basis, Telephone ,Telex , Copiers, Fax, High Bandwidth Internet Connectivity and WiFi support.
•  Library and Documentation : The incubatees through our centre can have access to the central library of Bharathidasan University as well as Department Library.
•  Legal experts : We have a legal cell which comprises a panel of highly qualified legal experts which advise the companies at our centre in their legal matters.
•  Access to the Resources of Bharathidasan University : The centre is strongly supported by the Bharathidasan University, Trichy, an internationally reputed institute in the field of science and technology. The institute provides the companies at ITTC with enormous intellectual resources , laboratory and library facilities of all the departments in the institute. The vast Alumni network of institute also works for the centre to foster incubation.

Activities

1. Mentoring: Monitors the product development of the incubated students by the mentor
2. Business Plan Development: To Improvising the Skill to Strengthening Business plan, Financial Plan, Market Survey
3. Business Promotion: To find business partners, venture capitalists, consultancy
4. Entrepreneurial Promotion: To conduct Awareness Programs, Workshop on Incubation, Seminars, Business plan competition.
