R. Manimaran
Network Engineer
Manimaran joined UIC in 2009 as a Network Engineer. His major responsibilities are installing, configuring, operating and troubleshooting medium-size routers, switches, LANs, Wi-Fi Controllers, Access Points, PCs and notebook PCs. He works intensively to ensure connectivity and robust performance of the wired and wireless networks of BDU.
Prior to joining UIC he has worked as UGC IMF technician in Bharathidasan University from 2005. He has also worked as on-site customer support engineer for IBM, HP, Compaq, Dell and Acer machines in various small and medium enterprises.
Maran is a qualified Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) and he has also completed his Cisco Certification for Network Associate (CCNA). He earned his Master's degree in Computer Applications from Bharathidasan University.
