About the Centre
Bharathidasan University named after the revolutionary Tamil Poet has made rapid strides in the field of higher education, research and extension activities, and has been adjudged as one of the most reputed Universities in the country. This University was started in the year 1982. With the aim of ensuring both quality and quantity in Higher Education, and also considering the rural and poor students who have obtained their U.G. degree, it was emphasized by the Tamil Nadu Government to establish P.G. Extension centres with high tech. laboratories in the following disciplines:
