Recent Events

1. The School of Computer Science, Engineering, and Applications at Bharathidasan University hosted the 'Kshatriya – 2022' International Students' Technical Symposium on October 14-15, 2022.

2. The Centre for Data Science, School of CSE & Applications, BDU, organized a National Seminar on 'Big Data & Challenges' on November 12, 2022.

3. An International Seminar on Advanced Computing took place at the BUTP Auditorium on March 2, 2023. Dr. Prasanna Ranjith Christodoss discussed 'A.I. & Applications,' and Dr. Raja Kumar Murugesan covered 'Blockchain.' The event was convened by Dr. Gopinath Ganapathy.

4. On March 20, 2023, the School conducted an Intra School Sports Meet, featuring Kabaddi, Volleyball, Cricket, and Football, fostering teamwork and camaraderie among the students.

5. A Workshop on 'Generative AI' was organized on July 27, 2023, at Bharathidasan University Technology Park (BUTP), with Mr. Ranjit Frederick Manual, Solution Architect (Data & AI) at Databricks, as the resource person. Dr. Gopinath Ganapathy served as the convener.

6. The TANSCHE sponsored National Seminar on 'Artificial Intelligence and ChatGPT' was held on July 28, 2023, with Dr. Gopinath Ganapathy as the convener

7. The School hosted a "Workshop on Yoga for Modern Age & IT Professionals" on September 25, 2023, providing a holistic solution.

8. A Seminar on 'Design Thinking & Innovation' took place on September 4, 2023, at BUTP, featuring Dr. V. Murali Bhaskaran, Treasurer of CSI Chennai Chapter, and Dean-Academics & Professor in CSE at Rajalakshmi Engineering College, Thandalam, Chennai, as the resource person.
